Isle Of Wight Festival

East Afton Farm, Freshwater, Isle Of Wight, England
August 26-30, 1970
Early articles stated that James Taylor, Cat Mother & The All-Night News Boys, and Mungo Jerry were to appear, but they cancelled.
Fuddy-duddys in Parliment didn't hide their dislike, passing the "Isle of Wight Act." No more groups of 5,000+ people on the island (until 2002).
