Miami Pop Festival

Gulfstream Race Track, Miami, Florida
December 28-30, 1968
Second event, no relation to the one in May. 100,000 folks lapping up sunshine (in the sky amd on paper) and grooving. Some acts cancelled (as shown)—there might be more. The official program was a 68-page comic book.
Joni Mitchell invited her new boyfriend, Willie, and Richie to sing "Get Together." Even reclusive Fred Neil showed up (but just to hang out). Revised daily line-up based on NME report (1/18/69).
